Vintage Haori - Black Good Fortune Card -

This haori is believed to be a very famous Ōshima Tsumugi (though as a vintage piece, there is no certificate to confirm this). It was produced in the warmer regions of Japan.
Woven with threads dyed in mud, the fabric is so finely crafted that it even repels moisture. Despite being pure silk, it has a smooth, almost slippery texture that is truly unique—one of the reasons why Ōshima Tsumugi is so beloved and highly valued.

The design features geometric square “cards” adorned with auspicious motifs. It is a piece that allows you to appreciate both sharp, modern lines and the refined, traditional craftsmanship of Japanese artisans.
