[ Product Description ]
This is a very rare Ra (羅) sheer coat.
Ra is a traditional Japanese open-weave textile created by intricately intertwining the warp threads to form a delicate, net-like structure. This complex weaving technique creates an exceptionally light, airy, and breathable fabric.
Traditionally worn during the summer, today it can also be styled over Western clothing or kimono, allowing the beautiful transparency and layered effect of the fabric to become part of the look.
Because this intricate weaving technique requires a high level of skill, Ra pieces are relatively rare and special.
The exact fibre content of this particular piece is unknown, and it may not be silk.
There are no noticeable stains or marks, and it is in very good condition.
