This furisode has a length of approximately 165 cm, making it suitable for those up to around 175 cm tall who wish to wear it in the traditional Japanese style.
The beautiful woven patterns in the fabric, exquisite gold Koma embroidery, and delicate Yuzen dyeing make this a truly magnificent piece.
Egasumi (江霞) is a traditional Japanese motif depicting layers of drifting mist or haze.
The gently overlapping shapes evoke the beauty of changing seasons and the passage of time.
Because mist can conceal and reveal the landscape, this elegant motif is also associated with mystery, transformation, and the beauty of nature.
Egasumi has long been cherished in Japanese textiles and art for its graceful, flowing appearance.
